Opened in 2008, the LWF Office in Maro collaborates with UNHCR, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, BMZ and BPRM to organize food distributions, provide shelter and psychosocial support, protect local ecosystems and support host communities and CAR refugees' livelihoods. 

Intervening in 8 camps in the Maro area, LWF in Maro 61 employees work everyday with communities to help them develop agricultural activities, alternative energy sources, livestock health, working skills in our Vocational Training Centre and durable income generating activities.
