Opened in 2009, the LWF Chad Office in Farchana collaborates with UNHCR, the Church of Sweden and BPRM to organize food distributions, provide shelter and psychosocial support, protect local ecosystems and support host communities and Sudanese refugees' livelihoods. 

Intervening in 13 locations in the Farchana area, the 30 employees and 44 stand-ins work everyday with communities to help them develop agricultural activities, alternative energy sources, livestock health, working skills in our Vocational Training Centre and durable income generating activities.
